GR Corolla CPLT Intake (2025+)

The SXTH Element Engineering CPLT Intake is a total package of performance and OEM fit and finish. CPLT is short for "Complete" because this intake leaves nothing out. This is a bolt-on performance upgrade that manages up to 14whp and 14wtq gains as RPMs climb to the redline. All of this is achieved on the OEM ECU without any additional modifications or check engine lights (CEL).

⚠️ Important Notice: P2C90 Check Engine Light ⚠️

Toyota has a crankcase ventilation sensor and this sensor has a chance to trigger a CEL after intake installation.  Due to the increased flow of the SXTH intake system, the sensor will tell the ECU the crankcase ventilation tube is disconnected, even when everything is properly installed. This CEL is emissions related and does NOT affect the engine's ability to operate normally and make power normally.  You just have a bunch of annoying dash lights. 

2025+ models of the GR Corolla have different ECU programming and we are currently working on a mechanical fix for this CEL.  Any affected customer will get these parts for free once finalized.  ECU tuning from most tuners can also turn this CEL off.  There is a TSB for re-programming the ECU for this CEL from Toyota, but it has not been shown to work with aftermarket intakes.  We are researching whether this TSB will work alongside mechanical parts.

Toyota requires this TSB ECU software update to be performed at the dealership.

Performance Engineering

The intake pipe and airbox are molded from XLPE plastic. This is a durable material perfect for lightweight intake systems. The intake tube is tuned to the specific size required for proper airflow for the MAF sensor while relieving pressure drop in the intake system. Reducing pressure drop lowers the pumping losses of the turbo, which increases performance without altering OEM air and fuel ratios.

Enhanced Cooling

The redesigned airbox relocates the additional air entry away from the heat of the engine. This innovation contributes to a cooler intake air temperature (IAT) to further enhance performance and efficiency.

State of the art 3D scanning and CAD design ensure a perfect OEM fit on the first try. This technology allows us to fine-tune the intake design virtually before any real-world testing to optimize both performance and reliability.
