Our AV6 blow off valve (AV standing for atmospheric valve) is the result of hundreds of man hours between CAD design, prototype building, bench testing and vehicle testing. Many months of R&D has gone into our valve to produce a quality OEM replacement that makes a crispy clean sound and is 70% the size of it’s competitors. This valve, with a different base, was run for a few months on our 400 horsepower Elantra Sport, so you can rest assured it will perform for you.
The AV6 is designed to be a direct factory bypass valve replacement with a clean sound and solid performance. The body is machined from billet 6061 Aluminum, anodized black. The piston is brass and designed to be as light as possible for lightning fast response.
The CAD designed base is specific to the 2.0T engine
The AV6 uses the factory bypass valve gasket for a leak free, 100% bolt on solution. The kit comes with new fasteners and vacuum line so nothing else is needed for installation. Just open the box, install and drive!

The review below is my own personal opinion and experience with the AV6 and other SXTH ELEMENT products. I am by no means a professional mechanic.
I just installed the SXTH AV6 BOV along with the other performance parts listed below and I am blown away with the performance and sound that you get out of this little device! I also liked the fact that when you install the AV6 with the CPLT CAI & the upgraded Pierburg watergate (make sure you get the Pierburg) the AV6 and the entire system together not only sounds absolutely amazing but the HP gains are unbelievable for just adding a few bolt on mods! I had a lot of turbo lag before which I’m not used to because I’ve always been a supercharger guy and love / missed that instant low end power that you would get with a SC HOWEVER by adding the mods together that I have listed out below it will give you both low & top end power which you could typically only get if you ran a dual system combining both a SC & a turbo together but not anymore! SXTH ELEMENT, Lit Logis, Pierburg and the rest of the amazing manufacturers that had their hands on the development of these amazing mods cracked the code so if you want both the low & top end power from one system this is the way to go!!!!

Works beautifully. Was easy to install. Just a little disappointed it doesn't come with a cheap cap to cover the removed hose opening.
