Important Service Note

Certain Tundra and Tundra HV models may experience a lack of power during acceleration or a Check Engine Light (MIL ON). These symptoms are often associated with Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P017400, P117B00, and/or P043000.

Toyota has issued Technical Service Bulletin T-SB-0030-23 to address these specific issues. We highly recommend having this TSB performed by a Toyota technician to ensure your vehicle is operating with the latest factory updates and to prevent potential performance interruptions or warning lights.

Performance Notes

The CPLT system is significantly less restrictive than the OEM unit. Because of this, you may notice a faint thumping sound from the factory blow-off valves when lifting off the throttle during high-boost situations. This is a normal characteristic of the 2024+ Tundra platform and is simply more audible now that the thick, muffled factory plastic has been replaced with high-flow components.
