Meet Our Team

We’re a small group of friends who love trucks, fast cars, and building top-tier parts that hold up to real-world use. Our focus has grown to include off-road performance, but our mindset hasn’t changed—build it right, test it ourselves, and never settle for anything less than excellent. Everything we make is rooted in hands-on experience and a shared drive to improve how things feel, fit, and function.

Dan

Co-Owner / Head Coach

Dan’s the quiet force behind the scenes, always thinking three steps ahead. He’s the one crunching the numbers, coaching the team, and making sure the long-term vision stays on track. Around here, we call him the galvanizer. He keeps everyone motivated, aligned, and occasionally laughing with a well-timed joke.

I'm most proud of our Tundra Intake system. I spend a lot of time driving in the mountains and nothing makes me smile like hearing those turbo's spool when I'm on a long windy mount road with the windows down.
People outside of SXTH don't typically know that I exist.  I'm in the shadows looking at numbers, coaching the team, and setting long term vision.
Red is the worst color

Mark

Co-Owner / Engineering

Mark is the brain behind the build, the guy who takes an idea and turns it into something real, tested, and ready to perform. From concept to prototype to final product, he’s led the charge on some of our most challenging projects.

My first real mod on a car was an Injen Intake System on my 1999 Mercury Cougar.  It was the first time I installed an aftermarket part and really used tools for the first time.
We need more station wagons!
I think my co-workers would say I bring good problem solving skills, and can look at something that needs a solution and come up with it quickly.

Nathan

Operations

Nathan keeps the engine running behind the scenes, building the systems, strategies, and workflows that keep SXTH moving forward. From forecasting and supply chain to marketing and product planning, he’s the one connecting the dots.

I live in the backend. Systems, data, forecasting, supply chain, marketing. If it helps us run smoother or reach more people, I’m probably buried in it. Most of it isn’t flashy, but it keeps the whole thing moving.
A plan. And a backup plan. Maybe also a random story, a weird snack, and a spreadsheet no one asked for but ends up using.
Birds. Learning their calls, spotting different species, and just observing how they move through the world. My favorite has become the Great Blue Heron. It’s peaceful and focused, and I think that’s what draws me in.

Aaron

Media Manager

I really like the Trail Pipe for the Tacoma. It’s a super affordable entry point into off-roading mods, but more importantly, it’s actually useful. It solves a real-world problem with departure angle and clearance, which is something every off-road Tacoma owner is going to run into eventually.
I’d probably be designing and building theatrical spaces. Really. My background is in theatrical rigging and production, and I still carry a lot of that mindset into how I approach vehicle builds and media planning. Building a stage and outfitting a truck have more in common than most people think.
I really enjoy organizing the shows we attend. Figuring out booth layouts, logistics, coordinating gear, all that stuff and yeah, outfitting the trucks is part of that too. Someone’s got to do it. It’s one of those behind-the-scenes things that ends up being pretty rewarding.
