In some cases, this added airflow can reveal pre-existing issues with factory fuel injectors that were previously "masked" by the restrictive OEM intake. Technical Service Bulletin T-SB-0030-23: Certain Tundra and Tundra HV models may experience a lack of power during acceleration or a Check Engine Light (MIL ON), often associated with DTCs P017400, P117B00, and/or P043000. Our Recommendation: We highly suggest having your local Toyota dealer perform this TSB. This ensures your vehicle is equipped with the latest factory injector updates, preventing performance interruptions and ensuring your fuel system can keep up with the increased efficiency of the CPLT system. Performance & Acoustic Notes Engineered Transparency: The CPLT system is significantly less restrictive than the OEM unit. Because we have replaced thick, muffled factory plastic with high-flow components, you may notice a faint "thumping" sound from the factory blow-off valves when lifting off the throttle during high-boost situations. This is a normal mechanical characteristic of the 2022+ Tundra platform; the CPLT system simply removes the "muzzle," allowing you to hear the turbocharger system operate as intended. It does not cause any mechanical issues or harm to your engine. 🔊 Upgrade Your Sound Signature While this "thumping" sound is harmless, some drivers prefer a more refined or aggressive acoustic profile. If you find the factory blow-off valve noise undesirable, an aftermarket solution can resolve it. Love the CAI

Holy cow. What a difference getting the SXTH Element CAI for my truck. Sounds night and day different! The video really doesn’t do it justice. I got it for my 2025 TRD pro

If you get it BIG recommendation. Remove bracket from intake pipe. Then mount it to the block THEN attach the pipe to the bracket. Makes it SOO much easier.

Sounds great, looks great

Sounds great, looks great. Install was bit of a pain but more to do with Toyota than SXTH. The main reason I held back the 5th star is the new thumping noise and the fact that the BOV adapter isn’t sold with the kit. If it’s a known issue then include the part that corrects it, don’t charge additional and make people wait for inventory.

We did discuss including the BOV inserts with the intake as standard, but it would raise the price of the intake to about $700, and we thought that was a bit silly. Some trucks get the thump noise prominently, and some trucks stay thumpless after intake install. We wanted it to be an option as a result. It doesn't cost any more to buy them separately than it would to buy them together.
As far as waiting for inventory, we can't ship something we don't physically have yet. Please let us know if there is anything further we can help with!

This product exceeds my expectations!!! The design is spot on especially the magnetic lids. I keep them off during nice weather amd will put them on during the elements. Im waiting to see how much the hex shaped holes on the front of the boxes let in during said elements. But so far I would recommend these to any new Gen tundra owner hands down over the other brands.
