These engines have a PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system that relieves crankcase pressure inside your engine. Most modern engines take these excess gases and send them back through the engine to be burnt off. Unfortunately, these gases are a dirty/gunky mixture of gas, oil and crud. Our kit filters the PCV line of that system, keeping the vaporous mixture of crud out of your engine and trapping it in a can.

We've taken our time to carefully design every aspect of our new catch can. CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum, we incorporated a 40 micron filter to help slow and filter the crankcase vapors. Our logo cut diffuser houses stainless steel filtering media for ultimate air/oil separation.

Our kits consist of top notch components and is usually paired with our vehicle installation kits (sold separately) for a bolt-on, no fuss installation. Our Catch Can does all the filtering, and is mounted to the vehicle by a custom tailored mounting bracket specific to each vehicle (installation kit sold separately).

Using our CAD software and simulation tools, we have fine-tuned how crankcase vapors are processed by the can's filtration system. These tools help us validate designs before they are prototyped and made.

A most handsome catch can

Hear ye, hear ye, noble wrench-turners and horsepower squires! After installing the mighty BRI-tanium exhaust system, my next quest was the installation of the Sxth Element Catch Can. And lo, the process was smoother than my own royal morning movement after an evening’s indulgence of vodka and prune juice. Truly, the tools practically leapt into my hands, eager to serve such handsome engineering.

This most noble vessel now guards my engine’s appetite, forbidding it from feasting upon unhandsome vapors and foul crankcase mist. For verily, such foulness would spoil combustion much like Lord Deathstroke spoils a pizza by sprinkling pineapple and garnishing it with Tide Pods. (A culinary crime punishable by dragon fire in the Handsome District!)

The catch can gleams proudly in my engine bay, a sentinel of freshness and performance. When I gaze upon it, I feel the same satisfaction as catching the court jester trying to pole-vault with a torque wrench, only to land headfirst in a barrel of used motor oil — both tragic and hysterically glorious.

And let it be known across the land that this handsome upgrade was made possible by the fresh moves and noble efforts of Handsome Nathan and Handsome Zach D, whose wisdom and parts delivery rival the legends of old scrolls and sauce-stained tavern menus.

Thus, I declare this upgrade to be both functionally formidable and aesthetically most handsome. My steed now rides cleaner, prouder, and ever ready to mock the Unhandsome District with every spool of turbocharged breath.

Perfect fit with great instructions, only complaint would be for people that are not as car savy is it did not mention anything about the lock washers that are included. Excited to never worry about carbon build on my my brand new Elantra N.
