Putting SXTH Element's Tundra Recovery Points to the Test!

At SXTH Element, quality and reliability are paramount. When it comes to vehicle recovery points, strength isn't just desirable, it's critical. We're excited to share our latest development: rear recovery points specifically designed for the Toyota Tundra, crafted from ultra-durable 7071 aluminum, and the rigorous testing we've put them through.

In our initial pull test, we applied 15,000 pounds of force to our recovery point, using a robust 3/8" steel plate for mounting. The result? The recovery point itself held firm, but the steel plate bent under the intense load. Clearly, our 7071 aluminum recovery points are seriously strong, but our mounting solution needed an upgrade.

For the second test, we swapped out the 3/8" steel plate for an even sturdier single-point 1/2" steel shackle. We pushed harder, applying a staggering 20,000 pounds of force. The outcome was impressive yet again—this time, the steel shackle itself bent under the pressure while our 7071 aluminum recovery point remained intact and unyielding.

These tests confirm that our new Tundra rear recovery points exceed typical recovery demands!

Stay tuned for the official launch of our 7071 aluminum rear recovery points for the Toyota Tundra. Built tough, tested rigorously, and ready for your next adventure.
