Hot Pipe
2020 Forte GT. Stock Tune. I waited a long time for the product. When I received it, one of the couplers was wrong. I made sxth aware. Never received a replacement. Had to buy my own. There was also a price drop during the time I was waiting. Apparently due to the fact sxth was no longer going to be providing a bracket for the pipe. I had to reach out to see if I would be receiving a bracket. I was not. I had to ask for them to honor the new price since I wasn't getting a bracket. They handled it, but I don't feel I should be the one to have reach out and ask. Plus the pipe really needs a bracket. I ended up making my own. Now for the actual review of the hot pipe. Works well with stock intercooler. Months later I purchased a tork intercooler, and tried it with both the factory hot pipe and sxth hot pipe. I prefer the factory pipe matched with the aftermarket intercooler. I don't race my car. It's my daily driver. For my use the hot pipe and aftermarket intercooler together made for to much of a loss of low end response. The intercooler with factory pipe felt much better for a daily. People racing and tracking they cars might have different results. If you're going to push more boost, and drive the car hard a lot, this will be a worthwhile upgrade. If your car is a daily, and you want to keep stock intercooler, the hot pipe upgrade is also worth while. But in my opinion, a better upgrade for a daily driver is to find an upgraded intercooler option that works with oem plumbing. My rating is based off what I think of the product, along with my overall experience. I was not hasty about making the review. I've had the pipe for a long time now.
