Purchased this as a Christmas gift for someone who really wanted a nice shift knob in their vehicle. (Kia Soul)
Very impressed with the heft and quality of the product. Going to need to order one for my Veloster now.
We CNC machine these from solid steel so our knob comes out to about 485 grams in weight. After they get powder coated, we finish them off with a customized shift pattern featuring the SXTH Element Engineering Icon logo. This knob has a 34mm Reverse Lockout Cavity. We regularly stock blank Wrinkle Black powder coat (pictured) and Gloss Black powder coat for that OEM look. We engrave the pattern upon ordering so a 2-3 day lead time is needed for these. Other, custom colors require a 2-3 week lead time for coating and engraving.
***Please note this will not work on shifters that are not threaded. If your shift knob pulls straight off, this will not work for your vehicle.***

Service is great and I got my parts very quick and dealing with Tanner is a breeze and he's always great to work with
The stock shift knob on the turbo is terrible! I was having issues with 2nd to 3rd when at high rpms. I had the chance to test drive the new Veloster N and it has the same issue. With the weighted shift knob it really makes the shifts a lot smoother. Installation was easy, however I needed to use a thinner nut and washer to get the lettering the best location.
The texture and well-rounded shape feels great when shifting. The weight really helps getting into tougher gears like 6th or reverse.
I did like all the other parts i got but never received this part and never got a call back about it
Ordered the shift knob and still got it within a very short period of time even with a hurricane and USPS being down. But I figured it was a direct replacement for the stock knob and would just screw on like the OEM....I was mistaken. After tightening the knob down all the way I noticed the reverse lock out didn’t work and didn’t know why. Well there is an additional nut that was in the box that needed to be installed first. Well the thread adapter inside of the knob is now alll the way to the top and I was unable to thread it with now installed said nut.....after a couple of trips to a hardware store and about 2 hours of grinding down a nut with a dremmel I got it to finally thread. Looks great and feels great but wish all this information was in the box or something. It would have saved a lot of hassle.
Seriously this know TRANSFORMS the way my F5 SX shifts!! I paired it with the bushings and everyone who drives my car just LOVES the way it shifts. And it looks fantastic in galaxy blue!!
The product was exactly as described and had no installment problems whatsoever. Definitely a must have to improve the quality of your car.
2016 VT - Custom Weighted Shift Knob Spoke with Tanner a couple times about a Custom Design. Had a sample image sent within a day for my approval. Knob showed up and I was Blown Away by it.
