C.A.R.B. and E.P.A. Information

In our push to produce CARB Exempt products, no toggle switches can be modified in calibrations, such as those to accomodate modified emissions controlled devices. This also means your vehicle must comply with Federal and State emissions regulations to not have a CEL (Check Engine Light). If your car has an emissions delete or defeat device installed or missing emissions equipment that causes a CEL, it is not something that can be considered for calibrating. Other modifications that do not interfere with emissions can be calibrated.

This product is currently not C.A.R.B. Certified and does not ship to California or other states that have adopted the C.A.R.B. standard.

In order to obtain higher performance from your vehicle without tampering with the ECU, you can now tap into the system through the use of the Rev6. The Rev6 includes our full featured PC software for map uploads, settings adjustments, and updates.

Capabilities

Our system includes drive mode synchronization which allows the use of drive mode buttons to switch between designated maps. These maps can also be switched using the mobile app which is available on iOS and Android, or in our PC software.

It also features built in protections that will delay the increase in power until the coolant has reached full operating temperature, or disable the increase in power if the coolant temperature or intake air temperature is too high.

Get connected through the Android and iOS app developed in tandem with our affiliate, NKLAB, in South Korea.

Your vehicle must be in good, working condition. We reserve the right to cancel any customer with a vehicle not in such condition. We may ask prior to scheduling for proof of condition. We do not suggest installing on a vehicle that does not run well. There is no "calibrating around it". We will not make suggestions for repairs if it does not run well prior to installation. You will need to consult a local shop for repairs.

Software

The Rev6 includes our PC software, developed with NKLAB in South Korea, for uploading new maps, making changes to settings, and updating the Rev6 unit. The software can be downloaded here.

11x24 high resolution 3D maps allow for fine adjustment to boost pressure. When combined with fast P-CAN data, operation is extremely smooth. Advanced users can make their own high resolution maps, and even change axis data to get the most control possible.

Built in temperature protections can be adjusted, along with drive mode integrations. The new overboost mode can now be enabled for a short burst of power!

Hardware & Design

The Rev6 is fitted with a carbon fiber faceplate and housed in a hardened shell of ABS plastic for full protection. Using the hardware seen above such as the powerful 32Bit ARM processor and the extremely fast P-CAN connection, it will provide quick analysis of signal and smooth power delivery for your Veloster N .

On a stock 2020 Veloster N we managed to squeeze out 51 ft-lbs of torque and 34whp using the top-end Map3 with even bigger gains in the midrange. Each consecutive map (1-3) will increase your output according to your current driving needs.

Advanced maps are available for vehicles with more modifications, with up to 285WHP output! Email nathan@sxthelement.com for more info.

Installation

Installation of the system is a plug and play that is not complex and you can follow along with our video here. Expect to spend about 20-30 minutes on installation of the system.

    It’s good and all but the application Econ 5 needs to be compatible with apple devices such as MacBook and need more information on what was bought cuz all i got Was the rev 6 with wires didn’t come with a handbook on what came with it what maps it had or a tune other than that it’s works good but could use more ways to use it

    REV 6 - Catch Can - cold air intake

    The Rev 6 really brought my 2022 Veloster N alive, along with the sxth element cold air intake, and catch can. my VN is really fun to Drive now, with more punch than stock. Quality of all parts is excellent, fit, and finish is also excellent. with these three performance parts together, it made a huge difference in how my VN performs. The feel of the torque, and HP gain is well worth buying these parts. Thumbs up for Nathan, he emailed me back quick with any questions I had on my parts. Very professional, keep up the good work sxth element team. Thanks for actual performance parts that work.

    Excellent product but could use some fine tuning overall

    2020 Kia Forte GT 1.6t I've had mine for a few weeks. Just for comparison sake, mine has topped out at 22.7 psi map 3. I have not enabled overboost mode so I'm curious how much more it would boost with it on. My experience with the rev6 is its much smoother power delivery than stock tune and a bit smoother over the JB4. I daily drive it on map 1 and even with map 1 you can tell a notable difference in power. MPGs have slightly gone up with daily driving if don't beat on it so that's a welcome surprise. The Rev6 phone app has a long way to go to be as customizable as the JB4, such as allowing settings change on the fly (not talking map changes), data logging, the ability to change units of measurement, the ability to see other PIDS such as IAT, coolant temp, air/fuel ratio, ignition timing etc. I figure that's because jb4 has the OBD2 connection whereas rev6 using canbus connection. The fact that you can use the PC software to enable/disable settings and view in depth data on how the system works is a plus but that also requires some knowledge on how different sensors work, so not all will benefit from it. Installation was very simple once you find where to look on SXTH's website for the link to download the PC program and the instructions for install. Overall it's a great product, definitely adds power and has safety lockouts. With some additional options, clearer instructions and an upgraded app I feel it could be better experience for sure.

    2020 R-Spec

    The Rev6 is a good purchase. It pulls harder and is more responsive. Keep in mind that the Rev6 is designed for cars that are mainly stock. I am getting their FMIC and Downpipe, so an actual ECU tune would benefit me more than the REV6. My only complaint is that the installation instructions for the 1.6 Quick Connect are nowhere to be found atm(4/22/21). SXTH will respond quickly and provide you with how to install the newer quick connect once you email/call them.

    Rev6

    The power increase is noticable right away. The power band has increased and comes on about 1000k sooner than stock and pulls hard to the red line. I am very happy with the results but I wish I would have gotten a lower engine mount first. The wheel hop has increased in first and second gears pretty bad. I'll be reviewing the lower engine mount soon, lol. I have observed better gas mileage when just cruising around in one of the maps which was unexpected.

    Awesome products

    Just wanted to say I think the Sxth Element Rev 6 and Oil Catch Can are awesome. Installs on both we simple and any questions I had we answered by Nathan quickly via email. Wish I could post a picture of both installed but please take my word they fit and function perfectly. Thanks!!

    2020 Kia Forte GT

    Great Product - Feels like I have a totally new car. The gains throughout the powerband are incredible. Smooth and fun drive. Highly recommend. And as always the SXTH staffs support is incredible.

    The amount of punch this gave my car is insane. I got +40whp and even more torque with nothing but an intake. 10/10 recommend

    Rev6 for 2020 Veloster N Perf. Pack

    Super easy install, makes the car feel like it should have from the factory. Very easy to connect to the computer and adjust drive mode map combos and enable overboost. Highly recommend.
