C.A.R.B. and E.P.A. InformationAir enters the OEM air scoop and goes to our high flow / dry flow filter with integrated velocity stack that feeds air through a 3.75in carbon fiber tube to the turbo. Due to OEM ECU limitations in place (much like current Kia Forte / Veloster Turbo) power gains are limited to 4-6whp across the rev range. With this intake, the OEM bypass valve hose is still used and the EVAP hose connections also remain for a 100% OEM installation.
Designed to suck air from the OEM air feed, fresh air is fed to the filter while looking great in the process. Our open element system gives you all of those extra sweet turbo sounds.
Our intake pipe is constructed from 3K twill 100% carbon fiber and finished with a gloss sealer. We chose carbon for the ultimate combination of strength and heat resistance. At 3.75 inches in diameter, the tube is the biggest on the market. The tube needs to be as big as possible to minimize pressure losses in the intake system for turbocharger performance.
Our Carbon Intake is designed inside a 3D environment using 3D scans of the engine bay. This allows us to design quickly and easily in a real world setting and attain a perfect OEM fit the first time.
We use the highest quality 5-ply silicone hoses and worm gear clamps for our tubing connections. The hoses are also designed in the computer for perfect fitment.
