A couple things. Let me be honest. I did not read or view any installations videos. I just went off other catch can systems I've installed in other cars of mine. First, I was disappointed that the canister hits the AC lines enough that I carefully moved them out of the way to avoid constant rubbing metal on metal. I referred to images provided to make sure I had it in the right spot. Next I noticed all the clamps, hoses, and elbow adapter to the manifold and decided to clean up the connection with a hose that had a 90 degree elbow in it to avoid the plastic one and potential leakage with clamps. Then I used a brass 1/2 to 3/8 adapter in line with the check valve. I find my on path through the factory wiring to allow the engine cover to go back on as if nothing was underneath. Overall, I think it's ok to use the parts included.
