Elantra Sport Axle Back Exhaust

I ordered this exhaust on Thursday and got it the next day. Was for real surprised. Everything fit up perfect. Easy as hell to install. Shaved some weight and sounds great. I haven’t have service like this in a while. Awesome job SXTH. Just ordered the intake and it will be here tomorrow. Don’t have to wait weeks. I will definitely buy what I can from them. Time to start stuffin turbos SXTH.

Very pleased with the exhaust, very easy to install

Absolutely love this axle back. I didn’t think I would have backfire (bangs) from a stock tune. Adding this axle back made the car more alive and much more fun to drive. It is expensive versus just doing a muffler delete but I wanted to keep my old muffler incase I ever needed to put it back on or sell the car. Overall you won’t be dissatisfied, nicely built, easy install, and sweet tips. One thing I would ask is if they added new nuts. The nuts from the stock pipe were rusted and super hard to install onto the new bolts.

This axle back does not fit in OEM rubber hangers, the metal hooks are of smaller diameter than the OEM hanger holes, so the tail will hit your bumper as soon yo touch the road. They haven’t answered my email exposing this, i have measured the diameter of the hooks and they are 10.10mm and the OEM hanger hole is 12mm. In fact if you put the OEM pipe hooks parallel to the SXTH axle back hooks the difference in diameter is evident. I think SXTH MUST provide hangers supporting this item otherwise you have to buy aftermarket hangers and see if it can fit properly.

If I could give more stars I would, it’s definitely worth it. deep nice notes definitely had a smile on my face driving home.

This axle back is top on quality, however the OEM hangers do not fit the SXTH hanger tips. OEM hanger tips are of bigger diameter so you will need some aftermarket hangers (urethane or rubber) to fit SXTH hanger tips. Otherwise it will hit your bumper.

So long story short I got the exhaust on my 2020 Hyundai Elantra sport. Not sure if this is user error but Im pretty sure it sits a tad high for the 2020 model. Apparently I didn't research enough on forums which is probably partly my fault but it did melt a bit of the bumper. Dumb me wanted to hear it and do a quick drive through the street. Just to let you know it will need tweaking if you want to put it on the 2020 model.
Other than that great product. Wonderful sound and pretty much hassle free probably better for 2019 to 2017's.

Great welds like everyone else said!! My grandpa & I installed the exhaust together. The only issue we had was removing the old muffle/exhaust from the OEM hangers, but other than that it was pretty easy install. I think they should include a new gasket with the shipment but were used the old gasket. I like the new exhaust got some gurgling and a little bit of pops out of the exhaust. Turning heads and breaking necks whenever I drive by lol. Great part and company!! Powered by SXTH!!

Tanner, Mark and the boys at SXTH really do a tremendous job on their products! Received my axle back last week, haven’t got it on yet but getting it installed this Friday! Seen lots of videos of this exhaust and cannot wait to hear the results once it’s installed! Excited isn’t the word haha! The quality and workmanship is beyond impressive! I love this exhaust. The stock muffler was massive and bulky I couldn't wait to get it off. They had one in stock on the shelf and shipped it out within an hour after I ordered it and I got it in two days. I got the burnt blue straight cut tips and the tips and welding look amazing. Absolutely love the sound it makes but I'm sure my neighbors don't at 5am...oh well
