Our AV6 blow off valve (AV standing for atmospheric valve) is the result of hundreds of man hours between CAD design, prototype building, bench testing and vehicle testing. Many months of R&D has gone into our valve to produce a quality OEM replacement that makes a crispy clean sound and is 70% the size of it’s competitors. This valve, with a different base, was run for a few months on our 400 horsepower Elantra Sport, so you can rest assured it will perform for you.




The AV6 is designed to be a direct factory bypass valve replacement with a clean sound and solid performance. The body is machined from billet 6061 Aluminum, anodized black. The piston is brass and designed to be as light as possible for lightning fast response.

The AV6 uses the factory bypass valve gasket for a leak free, 100% bolt on solution. The kit comes with new fasteners and vacuum line so nothing else is needed for installation. Just open the box, install and drive!

Sounds very nice

I got this blowoff valve to replace the stock bypass valve and the change of sound is noticeable. It sounds like a proper blowoff valve and it’s a big head turner !!

Very High Quailty

The valve itself is fantastic quality, easily far superior to the OEM part. It fits perfectly in the stock location and wasn’t THAT hard to install. With that said, I removed the entire pipe that holds the BOV solenoid and the factory valve to make it easier on myself to connect the hoses. I upgraded to the Pierberg solenoid while I was at it and used the included vacuum hose from the BOV for both connections from the valve to the solenoid (I had to cut the hose and still had extra). To make this work, I simply installed the solenoid backwards; the orientation doesn’t matter as it’s not touching anything or stretching any lines and since it’s totally buried in the bay I figured it doesn’t matter if the little brand sticker isn’t showing. One thing you should know is that this valve is NOT very loud. If you’re already running an open intake, you’re barely gonna hear this over the induction noise. No whistle at all, so if that is what you’re looking for, this isn’t gonna do it for you. Overall I recommend the product but knocked a star because I had to cut the line to use with the solenoid (and I’m sure they know a lot of people are gonna install these two things together) and it’s not a noticeable sound difference. The car does feel more responsive. I’ll do the wastegate solenoid next and report back.

Sounds awesome

Installed on a 2018 Elantra Sport, you will need the smallest 1/4in extension you can find with an allen socket to make removal easy. Much beefier sound to the blowoff with this valve installed vs the oem, nice and loud with the recirculation hose removed I really like how it sounds. Oem clamps to the solenoid were too small for the supplied hose so I just used zipties. Very quick and easy to install.

Quick install, endless smiles

I was able to install this into my 2017 Elantra Sport in around an hour and I did it all mainly from underneath the car. It was a bit hard to get to the screw that was behind one of the electrical cables running to the transmission but other than that it was incredibly easy. The BOV itself feels great and high quality and the sound it produces makes me want to go out and hit boost whenever I can. I wish I bought this sooner.

Installed on 2020 Soul Turbo

I installed this on a 2020 Soul Turbo. On the Soul, the valve is accessed from underneath the car. The install is fairly straight forward but a couple of lessons learned: 1. Getting the bypass valve hose off of the stock valve is easier if disconnected from the top side and then lift the entire valve/hose assembly up and out. Then disconnect the hose from the valve. 2. The supplied vacuum hose must be used and the stock clamps will be a very tight fit. To get them over the fitting, I had to position the clamp where it would be when installed and then slip it over the fitting while squeezing with pliers. If you slide the hose on first and then try to get the clamp over the fitting, it won't fit.
I decided to continue to use the bypass hose but, it is just a hair too big for the AV6. With the clamp installed, the hose still slides on the fitting but, it will not slide over the lip. Maybe this is by design...the clamp needs to be positioned on the hose to minimize the movement.
Since lock washers weren't included for the mount bolts, I wondered if loctite may be needed. The YouTube video for the install did not use any. I don't have a service manual for the torque specs and, setting my torque wrench to 30 inch pounds seemed to be too much torque. So, I went without a torque value and snugged them down using a small 1/4 inch drive ratchet without any loctite.
Overall, a very nicely built valve...very high quality.
