Improve shifting feel and response with these new bushings!

The shifter cables are connected to the shift tower with rubber bushings. These rubber bushings deflect when under pressure. By eliminating this deflection, shifting is greatly improved.



Our bushings are turned from 6061-T6 aluminum stock, and designed to be an OEM fit. These will not deflect when shifting aggressively, resulting in a more refined shifting feel.

    Not bad, good quality but ...

    It's not bad definitely gives it a stiffer feel, more connected. I dislike no instructionsz the smaller bushing, I had to lube up and use pliers to work it in, due to being so tight. The larger bushing, major draw back is that it does NOT fit factory peg. Do not damage to 2 little innside filler black pieces from the original bushing, you'll need them to close up the massive whole drilled into the new bushing. I feel like it completely missedms the mark when you upgrade to this and still have to use plastic to get it to fix on properly. Other than that. No bad, oem bushings are a pain to get out.

    This is a good, inexpensive mod. There's not a massive change in shift feel but it is noticeable for sure. The top bushing is fairly difficult to remove without feeling like you are breaking it. But it'll come out with persistence.

    Quality product and fast shipping

    One of my many purchases from Sxth and I paired these with the shifter bushings. Order was placed late Monday night and processed and sent off to ship the next morning. Feels so much better from the stock bushings and when you pull them out you can quickly tell why.

    Exactly what I needed

    Shifting from 2nd to 3rd under WOT or close to WOT the shifter would hit a wall. Contacted the dealer, could not replicate nor explain it. Did some research that pointed me to the Shift kit that SXTH makes. Install was very easy for someone with some common sense, and have not had a single issue since. High quality product and cannot wait to purchase more SXTH parts!

    Great!

    Really nice incremental addition to feel as I already had the shifter bushings. VERY happy with the feel of the shifter. Install was easy. I suggest putting the car in neutral. Also, I DID NOT have to move the cables out of their guides. One cautionary note is that the factory bushing on the larger of the two is notched and "geared" on the center line of the cylinder (about 3mm). The bushing really needs to be worked to get it out of it's housing. Otherwise, it was easy and well worth the cost and time.

    Really a mindless install. Really solidified the shifter feel.

    Improved Shift Feel

    These are a great bang for your buck upgrade. This gets rid of the rubbery feel you normally get when engaging gears. Pair these with a knob and the shifter base bushings to have shifter perfection!
