In our push to produce CARB Exempt products, no toggle switches can be modified in calibrations, such as those to accomodate modified emissions controlled devices. This also means your vehicle must comply with Federal and State emissions regulations to not have a CEL (Check Engine Light). If your car has an emissions delete or defeat device installed or missing emissions equipment that causes a CEL, it is not something that can be considered for calibrating. Other modifications that do not interfere with emissions can be calibrated.
This product is currently not C.A.R.B. Exempt and is not available for use in California or other states that have adopted the C.A.R.B. standard.
We've been working hard to make sure this specialized calibration is ready for the road and ready for your DCT. With updates to the shift points, torque limiters and other factors that operate your transmission, we've refined our TCU calibration to deliver maximum effectiveness and response from your 7DCT.
The TCU will be programmed to hold a higher rev limit during launch mode. This will in turn provide a small amount of boost pressure off of the line without cutting your power to the wheels prematurely.
This feature may cause increased clutch wear.
By carefully refining a variety of torque limiters we have reduced the clutch disengagement for higher power applications. Your DCT will feel more responsive and be less likely to cut power when requesting maximum torque.
Every aspect of the 7DCT TCU has been looked over with a large focus on everyday driveability. Our calibration offers smooth performance and a more engaging driving feel without sacrificing smoothness in traffic or everyday driving. Shifts are optimized in every situation with 100s of hours of road testing being completed to ensure the transmission operates as intended.

Shift points have been optimized in all drive modes across the DCT. This includes those with larger turbochargers to reduce the overall lag felt. The graph below displays each gear and it's correlating RPM and throttle percentage.
We increased the rev limiter in Drive (D) and Sport (S) to 7,000 RPM to take advantage of larger turbochargers and reduce 0-60 MPH sprints.
